What this website collects, and what I do with it
I collect as little as possible. I do not sell anything about you to anyone. If you only read this website, I never learn your name.
Last updated 17 September 2026.
In brief
This website has no contact form, no account and no sign-up, so I never ask you for anything. Page views are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and by Google Analytics, which does.
The things I offer are hosted elsewhere. If you give one of them your email address, I can see it, and I use it only for the thing you asked for.
What this website collects
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and tells me which pages people read and which sites they arrive from. It does not use cookies. It does not follow you between websites and it does not build a profile of you. I cannot identify you from it.
There is no contact form, no account and no newsletter sign-up on this website, so nothing here asks you to type anything about yourself.
Google Analytics
This website also uses Google Analytics. It sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. It records which pages you read and which buttons you click to leave the site, such as the booking link or the free guide. Google receives that information and processes it on servers outside New Zealand.
It does not record your name, your email address or anything you type. I use it to see which parts of the site are useful and which are not.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics across every website you visit.
What happens when you click through to something else
Several things I offer are hosted by other companies. Once you are there, that company's privacy terms apply rather than mine.
- The free guide and course enrolment run through Beacons.
- Bookings for a conversation or a session run through Cal.com.
- My writing is published on Substack.
If you give any of them your email address, they hold it and I can see it. I use it to send you the thing you asked for, and, where you have agreed to it, occasional writing. You can unsubscribe at any time and I do not need a reason.
What I hold if we work together
If you book a conversation or a session, I keep your name, your email address, and my own notes about the work we do. I keep them so I can do that work properly and so I can meet my tax and business record obligations.
I do not share any of it with anyone else unless you ask me to, or unless the law requires me to. I do not use it to advertise to you.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask me what personal information I hold about you. You can ask me to correct it. You can ask me to delete it, and I will unless I am required to keep it.
Email jess@thezestlife.co.nz and I will answer within twenty working days, which is the timeframe the Act sets.
Who I am
The Zest Life Co Limited, trading as The Zest Life. Wellington, New Zealand. The person who reads your email is me, Jess Drayton.
If this page changes
The date at the top tells you when it last changed. If I ever start collecting something new, this page says so before it starts.
Questions about any of this
Email me. A privacy question is a fair question and it does not need a reason attached to it.
